If your inner world determines your outer world, then we can make the leap, believing that your inner world determines how you view money and your relationship with it. If your inner world is filled with negative feelings, a lack of love, and is full of scarcity, then you probably view money as scarce, something you don’t deserve, and a constant source of stress. On the other hand, if your inner world is filled with positive feelings, full of love, and seeing the abundance that surrounds you, then you probably view money as abundant, accessible, and a minor source of stress from time to time (or maybe not at all). I can’t think of anyone I’ve come across in twenty years as a financial advisor, or the forty-three years of my life, who has an abundant financial life without control over their inner world. I also can’t think of anyone who has a struggling financial life, despite the appearance of abundance to the outside world, with control over their inner world. I’ve re-read those two sentences, and I don’t love how they come across–they might be confusing. What I’m trying to highlight is that it’s not the state of finances (outer world) that determines whether or not an individual is living in abundance or scarcity (inner world). It is the other way around. It’s the inner world that determines how an individual lives financially. If you think about it, you already know this. You might understand it from your personal experience. You certainly understand it from observation–you don’t have to look far to find a “wealthy” or “rich” person who is miserable, unhappy, and still chasing more money. And I’m sure you can think of someone who would not be considered wealthy or rich by society, but is content, happy, and exudes love. If you don’t feel like you have a healthy relationship with money, but you’ve worked with advisors, done the budgeting, and even have a financial plan, maybe it’s time to take a hard look at your Self and see what’s causing the scarcity, negativity, and other low vibrational energy that is impacting your relationship with money. “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Love. Love is the answer. We enter this world in a natural state of love – it’s all we know how to do; just watch a group of young kids play. It doesn’t matter what the other kids look like, what belief system their family has, where they came from, or what sports team their parents root for. None of that matters because they don’t see any differences–they just see another human being because they are operating from a place of love. Read any book on consciousness, and love is one of the...
“As soon as we become aware of money, we develop beliefs about it, beliefs we cling to, sometimes for the rest of our lives, often at the cost of our souls.”-George Kinder It might seem extreme to say that your beliefs about money, especially those that you developed without being aware of, can cost you your soul, but if you think about it, it’s true.If your beliefs about money prevent you from becoming the person you were created to be by keeping you in relationships, careers, and living a...
Routines are great, but sometimes they need to be adjusted. Make sure you stay adaptable to the adjustments you might need to make within your daily routines An example of this is writing my Daily Note. It has become clear to me that shifts I’ve made in my morning routine require me to adjust when I write my Daily Note (you’ll notice this is hitting your inbox in the evening instead of the morning). If I want the Daily Note to continue being something that is delivered in the morning, I need...
