win by not quitting

“The difference between winning and losing is most often not quitting.”
-Walt Disney

I sometimes fear that I paint the picture of the Authentic Life as being too perfect. It’s not.

Life is not perfect, no matter how aligned you are with your Authentic Self. There will be plenty of ups and downs and challenges, even if you are perfectly aligned with your Authentic Life. There will be opportunities to quit and go back to the comfort of the known life you are trying to leave behind.

Not quitting is going to be one of the most important things you can do as you pursue your Authentic Life.

Think about how different your childhood would have been if Walt Disney had quit building his business that the world had never seen before.

What will you create if you don’t quit?

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

I’m trying to get him to realize that while he has achieved a lot in his almost 16 years on this earth, he has some very ambitious goals that he has not currently met, and he shouldn’t have, honestly. The goal I recite “what got you here won’t get you there” about the most is his goal of playing college basketball. Going into his sophomore year, he’s done a great...
