“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”
- Robert Louis Stevenson
Getting caught up in the desire to make immediate progress and see results ASAP is easy. When it comes to moving towards your authentic Self and evolving with your authentic life, focus on being the most authentic version of your Self each day. We often get attached to the vision of our future Self and expect to be that today, which frequently leads to frustration, disappointment, or the feeling of lack of progress. Remember that the future version of your Self you are pursuing is not the current authentic version of your Self–if it were, you would be that today. Instead, your authentic Self today is the seed you are planting, to bring in Stevenson’s quote, to become the version of your Self you are meant to be in the future. A simple way to think about this is that your future authentic Self (and life) results from compounding days of current authentic Selves (and lives). Focus on being the truest version of your Self today, maintain your alignment of spirit, mind, and body (which will keep you not only aligned today, but aligned with your future Self), and over time, you will become the version of your Self you are pursuing and were meant to be. Judge each day by whether or not you were true to your Self—that is how you plant your seeds. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC |

Even those of us who tend to tilt toward the higher levels of consciousness still fall victim to operating from a place of fear in some aspects of our lives. Sometimes fear can be reasonable or even...
"We’re on this planet for too short a time. And at the end of the day, what’s more important? Knowing that a few meaningless figures balanced–or knowing that you were the person you wanted to be?" - Sophie Kinsella (h/t to my friend Michael for having this quote in his email signature.) Align your spirit, mind, body, and money, and see how the figures balance in the way they need to for you AND you get to be the person you wanted to be. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC
Are you having a hard time connecting with your authentic Self? Struggling to sort through what feels authentic and what the world has told you? I have an easy exercise that will help you clarify what is true to you and what has been imposed on you. Take a look at the people you admire the most. What qualities do they have in common?
