money isn't scarce

“Rarely in our life is money a place of genuine freedom, joy, or clarity, yet we routinely allow it to dictate the terms of our lives and often to be the single most important factor in the decisions we make about work, love, family, and friendships…
We challenge assumptions about every other facet of life: race, religion, politics, education, sex, family, and society. But when it comes to money, we accept it not only as a measure of economic value but also as a way of assigning importance and worth to everyone and everything else in the world. When we talk about success in life, money is almost always the first, and sometimes the only, measure we use for it.”
-Lynne Twist, The Soul of Money

It’s time to start challenging the assumptions society has established about money.

Money isn’t scarce.

Money isn’t evil.

Money can bring happiness.

Money is a tool.

Money is meant to flow.

Money doesn’t define success.

Money shouldn’t be taboo.

Money isn’t determined by where you come from.

Money can be “attracted”.

Money is energy.

How do you feel as you read these challenges?

I’m not going to break down each of these in this Daily Note, but will quickly mention something I want you to consider about the scarcity of money…

According to experts, there is currently $90-$100 TRILLION in cash, checking, savings, and money markets.

All the money you will ever need, earn, or want is already in existence—it is abundant.

It’s already out there.

There is nothing scarce about money—other than the belief that you are deserving of it.

So, if you can accept and believe that money is not actually scarce, but overly abundant, you can begin to look at how you can better align yourself to, or day I say attract, more of it to live the authentic life you know you are supposed to be living.

As you begin to break down the assumptions of money you hold and see the flaws in their arguments, you will start to see money in a new light and begin to change your relationship with it.

It’s time to change the conversation around money to one that empowers people, not restricts them.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC

Love. Love is the answer. We enter this world in a natural state of love – it’s all we know how to do; just watch a group of young kids play. It doesn’t matter what the other kids look like, what belief system their family has, where they came from, or what sports team their parents root for. None of that matters because they don’t see any differences–they just see another human being because they are operating from a place of love. Read any book on consciousness, and love is one of the...

“As soon as we become aware of money, we develop beliefs about it, beliefs we cling to, sometimes for the rest of our lives, often at the cost of our souls.”-George Kinder It might seem extreme to say that your beliefs about money, especially those that you developed without being aware of, can cost you your soul, but if you think about it, it’s true.If your beliefs about money prevent you from becoming the person you were created to be by keeping you in relationships, careers, and living a...

Routines are great, but sometimes they need to be adjusted. Make sure you stay adaptable to the adjustments you might need to make within your daily routines An example of this is writing my Daily Note. It has become clear to me that shifts I’ve made in my morning routine require me to adjust when I write my Daily Note (you’ll notice this is hitting your inbox in the evening instead of the morning). If I want the Daily Note to continue being something that is delivered in the morning, I need...
