I heard someone say that our perspective of life (and the world) is like looking through the opening of a straw. The visual was so strong for me. What if we were able to broaden our awareness simply by acknowledging we’re holding a straw up to our eye, deciding to drop the straw, and continuously picking up better, wider tools to look through?
