Happy Sunday!! I hope you had a great week! As you'll read in this week's Notes, it was a big week for me and my Pursuit. I'll share more details as time goes on because I think my journey has a lot of valuable lessons and examples of guidance from the Universe that may be helpful in your Pursuit. I've enjoyed dropping episodes of LifeDesign+ every Thursday for most of the year, but I've decided, at least for the short term, to focus on quality over quantity when it comes to new episodes. So, I may not be dropping a new episode every Thursday, but I will continue to look for great guests, meaningful topics, and impactful conversations so when I do drop, you know it's one not to miss--I'll keep the release date Thursdays and will always give you a heads up in the Weekly Note before the new episode. This week, I had a chance to catch up with a couple of friends from Resolve Asset Management on their podcast Resolve Riffs. They were kind enough to have me on to talk about the authentic life, the importance of the alignment of spirit, mind, body and money, and more. This was a great conversation because Mike and Rodrigo understand where I'm coming from, as they have had similar experiences leading to similar beliefs. I hope you enjoy this conversation--don't forget to give it a like if you check it out; I'm hoping it is one of their most "liked" episodes! Ok, let's get to this week's Daily Notes... 📝 this week's Daily Notes10.27.24 #666 fall's beauty 10.28.24 #667 why you shouldn't wait to live your authentic life 10.29.24 #668 when you heart and thinking mind conflict 10.30.24 #669 "some people are so poor, all they have is money." 10.31.24 #670 attracting success 11.01.24 #671 saying yes to your Self 11.02.24 #672 stinky water 📺 podcast recommendationI've recommended Dr. Doty's book, Mind Magic, before and I had to share this podcast episode with you; I've listened to a few of his recent interviews, and I found this one to be the most enjoyable. As I listened to Dr. Doty and Mel discuss manifestation, the science behind it, and our mind's ability to create the life we want to live, I couldn't help but smile. You see, somehow, I've known this stuff--I've lived it and used it without ever being taught it, and it wasn't until recently that I began to read more about these ideas and beliefs I've always had. Your ability to create the visualizations and maintain the mindset necessary to live your authentic life is only a part of the equation, but it's an important one and becomes more accessible the more you do it. 👕 the fall '24 PRST drop has closed!Well, it's closed to non-Weekly PRST subscribers. I'll be placing the orders to get the hoodies, t-shirts, and hats made Monday, so you still have a few more hours to lock in your order. Thank you to everyone who purchase in this drop---I appreciate your support in the early days of the PRST brand, which will be a bigger brand in the future. If you haven't snagged your order yet, there's still time! See you next week (or tomorrow) and keep pursuing, JC |
I'm on a mission to help more people find and live their authentic life. Check out my Daily Notes where I write a short note each day about the connection of spirit, mind, body and money on the Pursuit of your authentic life.
This morning my alarm went off, and I turned it off. And I stayed in bed and went back to sleep; multiple times, I woke up and thought about what I “should” be doing. I could have been writing.I could have been working out.I could have been meditating. Podcast clips from the hustle crowd made me feel like I was wasting precious time. But it was the last Sunday of summer break. Everyone else was sleeping. It was cloudy and possibly raining. Staying in bed a little longer wasn’t going to hurt...
“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.” -Michelangelo Aim high, my friend. Aim authentically high. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC
One of the benefits of being a business owner is flexibility. For a long time, I’ve been resistant to being overly disciplined in my day-to-day structure. I’ve always appreciated the flexibility to call an audible in the middle of the day to work from home or spend a little more time with the boys if there was nothing on my calendar. For example, instead of doing some compliance work in the middle of the day, I could head home to walk to the coffee shop with the boys. The compliance work...
