Maybe you noticed that I didn’t publish a Daily Note a couple of days last week? The lack of publishing wasn’t because I was losing my desire to write or because the Muse stopped visiting me each day; it was because I was on spring break with Roman, four of his friends, and their dads. There were a few mornings where I slept in a little later (8:00 being “later”) to get some additional rest, or instead of keeping to my Self to write, I hung out with the dads, helped make breakfast, or got ready to head to the beach. I thought about the Daily Note each time, but made the conscious decision not to let the daily writing define me or my schedule. Having a routine is great, especially if it helps to maintain your alignment of spirit, mind, body, and money. But, I think it’s healthy to allow the routine to bend from time to time. Otherwise, the routine might cause us to miss out on something we were meant to do. Don’t feel bad if you make the conscious decision to alter your routine in for a short period of time—just be careful not to totally lose the alignment you’ve created by staying out of your routine for too long. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC |
I'm on a mission to help more people find and live their authentic life. Check out my Daily Notes where I write a short note each day about the connection of spirit, mind, body and money on the Pursuit of your authentic life.

This is who you really are….” - Joe Dispenza Last evening, I found out that one of my instructors for my Registered Life Planner designation and a dear friend had unexpectedly passed away. As I reflected on our conversations outside of class, which always centered on the woo subjects we both believe in, I thought...
“The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend.” -Robertson Davies I don’t know about you, but I’ve always thought that my eyes are what see the world in front of me. But the truth is our eyes don’t see anything, they just collect information and feed it to our brain—so it is our brain that actually sees. I don’t know how much our mind shapes the physical world we see—I don’t think we can make a tree appear that isn’t already there. But, I do know the world we see through...
I was revisiting the Watch The Throne album by Jay-Z and Kanye (such a good album—I almost forgot how good it was) and there were a bunch of lines that jumped out to me from the song “New Day”. I often think about how I make sure I help the boys grow into the men they were created to be and help them learn important lessons to make their Pursuits of their Authentic Lives smoother—assuming they aren’t supposed to learn their life lessons through great struggles (this is something I struggle...
