For better or worse, we have access to more information (and misinformation) than ever. And it’s hard to escape it. Twenty-four-hour news channels. Social media. Podcasts. YouTube. Group texts. I’m sure there was a time when more information would have been beneficial. Imagine waiting weeks to receive updates from a loved one overseas. Or, think about why we celebrate Juneteenth—it took two years for the news of the end of the Civil War, and with that, the freeing of all enslaved individuals....
