consciousness and money

“Because emotions emit a vibrational energy field, they affect and determine the people who are in our lives. Life events become influenced by our repressed and suppressed emotions on the psychic level. Thus, anger attracts angry thoughts. The basic rule of the psychic universe is that “like attracts like.” Similarly, “love promotes love,” so that the person who has let go of a lot of inner negativity is surrounded by loving thoughts, loving events, loving people, and loving pets. This phenomenon explains many scriptural quotations and common sayings that have puzzled the intellect, such as “the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer,” and “those who have, get.” As a general rule, therefore, people who are carrying the consciousness of apathy bring poverty circumstances into their lives, and those with a prosperity consciousness bring abundance into their lives.”

I just texted a couple of my friends that I’m beginning to believe more and more that the single greatest thing we can do to improve our relationship with money is to elevate our level of consciousness.

For most people, that will seem like nonsense. And for others, it will probably make them mad.

I’m not suggesting that everyone with financial stress is intentionally bringing the struggle into their life. In fact, I think in most cases, it’s the subconscious keeping consciousness at lower levels, probably caused by past trauma and experiences.

When I think about the work I do with clients and their financial planning, I know the long term planning, asset allocation, tax planning, insurance, and estate planning are all important details, but I’m beginning to believe more and more the focus should be to address those is in the most simple, yet effective ways and shift the focus on consciousness, alignment with their Authentic Lives, and making sure the plan evolves with them.

And when I look at what I’ve created with AlignedLife+, this is exactly what I’m offering to the world.

I’ll write more about this on my AlignedLife blog, where ideas like this are meant to be explored and expanded further.

But for now, do not overlook the impact of your connection with your Authentic Self and the level of your consciousness on your relationship with money.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC

“Following your genuine intellectual curiosity is a better foundation for a career than following whatever is making money right now.” -Naval Ravikant Rarely is chasing money the right decision in the long term. I know staying with your curiosity or intuition over money is easier said than done, but a decision made solely for money is usually not aligned with your Authentic Life, which is why it rarely works in the long run. Like many of my beliefs, I’ve not only witnessed it, but I’ve also...

Once you’ve found your Authentic Self…stop hedging. Once you’ve found how to bring your unique gifts and talents to the world…stop hedging. Once you’ve gotten clear on your Authentic Life…stop hedging. Once you know, don’t downplay it…stop hedging. I was talking with a friend today about our businesses, and I shared with him how the momentum for my work at Santiago was picking up. He commented that I had been at it for a while now, which made me reflect. I have been in the business of the...

A new episode of AlignedLife dropped today, and it's a special one... What if you were given the choice to stay or go — and you chose to stay? In this conversation, I sit down with my friend Aaron Schaben, and we start exactly where his story begins: the moment he left his body during a near-death experience at the 2019 Boston Marathon. With an internal body temperature of 108°, Aaron found himself above his own body — not in fear, but in complete peace — and was given a choice most of us...
