I hope you had a great weekend! As you know, a couple of weeks ago, I was in Arizona for a retreat to kick off the Integrated Wealth Advisor certificate program I am participating in over the next eight months. I planned on writing more about the retreat, and I may still, but I just wanted to share a little insight from this week's first day of class. The level of excitement and energy I felt during class confirmed that the IWA is exactly what I am supposed to be doing this year with my time and money dedicated to personal growth, and those feelings have been confirmed by a couple of bald eagle sightings this weekend. Our first class was focused on our identities and how they impact our relationship with money--I should have a new AlignedLife blog post on this topic in the next day or two. I share this for a couple of reasons:

In this episode, Frank and I talk about what's really broken in the healthcare system (and why it's not a conspiracy), how he founded Health Forward to bridge the gap between healthcare innovation and the institutions that need it most, and the deeply personal journey of leaving a comfortable, lucrative career to bet on himself and his vision. We go behind the scenes on the fears he had to overcome, the role his wife Katie played in giving him the final push, the "she don't want you anymore" moments that signaled it was time to go, and how he spent years quietly planting seeds so that when the moment came, all he had to do was hit the green button. If you've ever felt the pull between where you are and where you know you're supposed to be, Frank's story is going to hit home. 📝 AlignedLife BlogSame Money, Different Life "It is important to state clearly that higher consciousness does not guarantee riches. There are deeply conscious people with modest bank accounts. There are wealthy individuals operating at low levels of awareness. Money is not a moral scoreboard. But what I have consistently observed is this: people operating from higher states of consciousness tend to have what they need for their Authentic Life. The amount varies. The peace does not." 📺 The Authentic Life On Other ShowsFrom time to time, I listen to a conversation, and all I can hear is other people talking about the Authentic Life. See you next week (or tomorrow) and keep pursuing, JC |
I'm on a mission to help more people find and live their authentic life. Check out my Daily Notes where I write a short note each day about the connection of spirit, mind, body and money on the Pursuit of your authentic life.
Social media continues to show me why I am less and less drawn to spend time on it–I’m working up the courage to bail on it, with the exception of using it to distribute content and document life on IG for my Self. I saw a post saying that J. Cole is the most performative hip-hop artist, trying to convince everyone that he is humble. SMH. For those not familiar with why someone would post this, J. Cole, who happens to be 1.b in my favorite artists (with 1.a Kendrick Lamar), just released his...
I love the Olympics; I prefer the Summer Olympics, but I’ll still watch the Winter Olympics, and I’ve really enjoyed the last couple of days because of an individual who has quickly become the star of the show. I think it’s safe to say that star Alysa Liu. Coming into the Winter Olympics, Alysa’s story of stepping away from skating due to burnout and a lack of enjoyment in Beijing was well documented. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t following the ice skating world between the Olympics, so I...
