I hope you had a great week. It was a heck of a week (in a good way) where I found my Self on an extremely high frequency fueled by great client meetings and outcomes, timely first conversations with some amazing people, tons of creative work, and momentum building for my work at Santiago. And thanks to a beautiful weekend that let me spend a lot of time outside in the sun, I'm expecting this upcoming week to be more of the same. I hope the high energy I'm operating from has found you as well--it's contagious! Let's get to this week's Notes... 📝 this week's Daily Notes4.20.26 #1183 give up the sh*t 4.21.26 #1184 start with visualizing the life you want 4.23.26 #1185 perfect is the enemy of great 4.24.26 #1186 be led by your heart 4.25.26 #1187 your relationship with money 4.26.26 #1888 our phones suck 🎙️ AlignedLife "The Five" Something Is ShiftingWelcome to the very first episode of The Five — a weekly show inside the AlignedLife podcast where we explore one news headline and one deeper idea across all five pillars of aligned living: spirit, mind, body, money, and creativity. Something is shifting in America — and this week, you can feel it across all five pillars. A generation that grew up online is quietly turning toward faith, not out of tradition, but out of a hunger for something real. A landmark executive order signed this week could change how we treat mental illness forever — and the conversation it opens goes much deeper than politics. We talk about why so many of us have mastered optimizing our bodies while losing touch with actually living in them. Two major studies dropped this month that reveal how Americans are completely rewriting what financial success means — and what the data says might surprise you. And a new study just showed that AI can now outperform the average human on creativity tests — which, rather than being a reason to stop creating, might be the clearest argument yet for why you should never stop. Five pillars. Five conversations worth having. This is The Five. 🦅 OmensSpeak It Into Existence "This is where so many people go wrong. They think by just saying something, declaring that they are ready for it, that they will begin to attract it. What they don’t know is that without belief, they are not energetically on the frequency of what they are declaring they want. And what they also don’t know is that your words, in addition to the belief in them, must be followed up with action." 📺 The Authentic Life On Other Shows and What I've Been ConsumingFrom time to time, I listen to a conversation, and all I can hear is other people talking about the Authentic Life. I'm on a mission to help more people find and live their authentic life. Check out my Daily Notes where I write a short note each day about the connection of spirit, mind, body and money on the Pursuit of your authentic life.
I have had the opportunity to spend a good amount of time outside over the past two days. Yesterday, it was spent watching Silas play soccer, cleaning the pool cover, getting everything ready for opening it in a couple of weeks, and just being outside to be outside. Today, it’s been sitting outside working on some writing while Roman has basketball practice. I find it much easier to silence the call to pick up my phone and scroll or waste time when I’m outside. I don’t even think about it...
How well do you understand your relationship with money? Money is probably something that you think about often, but at the same time don’t REALLY think about. What I mean is that you probably think about day-to-day spending, maybe your savings and investing, and most certainly whether you feel you have enough. And those things are important to consider, but your relationship with money is even more important to understand. The relationship you have and the stories you tell your Self about...
“Don't be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.” - Roy T. Bennett Notice how our fears live in the mind and our dreams live in our heart, at least according to Bennett. This is because the heart is your connection to your Creator, and it is through our heart—through our passions—that we are guided towards our Authentic Life. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC
