start with visualizing the life you want

“Manifesting isn’t just about visualizing what you want and waiting for it to happen. It’s about being clear on your why, cultivating self-worth, aligning your behaviour with the person you want to become, stepping outside your comfort zones, developing an attitude of gratitude, growing through challenges, and trusting in the Universe so that you can surrender to the journey.”
-Roxie Nafousi

I know the word "manifestation” makes many people uncomfortable. I often cringe when I see someone on social media talking about it as this magical way to get what you want with little to no effort, because I know that’s not how manifestation actually works.

If you’d like, you can replace "manifestation" with any other word—it won’t diminish the power behind what Roxie Nafousi laid out in her Instagram post I grabbed this quote from.

Many things I have visualized, spoken out loud, and took action towards have gone from the vision to reality, and I’ve witnessed a number of my clients experience the same phenomenon in their lives. And now that I’m focused on helping people align their spirit, mind, body, and money and living their Authentic Lives, I’m seeing it happen more often and at speeds that almost seem impossible.

This is why it’s so important to get clear on who you are, how you want to show up in the world, and what it is that you want to do. Because the truth is, you’re always manifesting. Have you ever spent a lot of time and energy worrying about something that might happen to you—something you did not want? Only to experience the exact thing you spent so much time worrying about?

That’s manifestation.

You can either create/attract/manifest the life you want or you can create/attract/manifest one you want to escape.

  • Spend time clarifying the vision for your Authentic Life.
  • Look within to find the confidence you need to trust what you know about your Self.
  • Identify your unique gifts and talents that will allow you to be of service to others in a way that you enjoy and only you can do.
  • Start moving towards this vision, even if it is just a small step.
  • Pay attention to the synchronicities and feelings that will guide you.
  • Have faith.

If you do this in ways that are authentic to you, I have a hard time imagining that you don’t begin to see the life you are pursuing become your reality.

That’s manifestation.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC

Hope you had a great week. This weekend was full of sports--2 soccer matches for Leo, 1 for Silas, and 4 basketball games for Roman, which didn't leave much time for weekend creating. If you aren’t happy with the outcomes in your life, then it might be time to take a look at what you’re doing to receive them. It’s easy to play the victim, especially if you are doing what you’re “supposed to do” but not getting the results you feel you should. For example, I haven’t hit the physical goals I want—I want to drop body fat, rebuild some muscle I let slip over the years, and regain a six-pack. I started working out with my trainer regularly and working out from home when I’m not...
