Yesterday, on the tenth anniversary of the start of my journey as a business owner, I announced the rebrand of my firm, RLS Wealth, to Santiago. While not necessary, this rebrand gives me the permission and freedom to align what I’ve been writing and talking about for the last couple of years in my work with clients. For whatever reason, the brand Santiago allows me to lean into bringing spirit, mind, and body to money in practice. It allows me to shift my focus to being a guide more than someone with the answers. It allows me to speak to others who identify as creative, spiritual, and want to align their finances with the authentic version of their Self. Ultimately, it allows me to show up as the authentic version of my Self I’ve evolved into professionally. I also hope it inspires others in my profession to embrace their authenticity and realign their practices with their true Selves. Leading up to the announcement, I laid out a strategic content strategy to try and make a splash with the new brand and recorded three podcast episodes to tell the story of the rebrand (why, the story behind the name, and the vision), how we came up with the brand design, and how we took that design to the website. I’m proud of the work that has been done to create this new brand, which will allow me to continue serving the clients of RLS Wealth and blaze a new trail for the future. I’m excited about the work ahead of me with AlignedLife+; the four “beta” relationships I’m currently working in have already confirmed that this is the direction I'm supposed to be taking. You can check out the episodes on your favorite podcast player. I highly recommend you watch the second and third episodes because I do a screen share as the brand and web designers, and reflect on how we collaborated to design the brand and website. If AlignedLife+ sounds like the relationship you are seeking to discover your authentic Self, design a plan for your authentic life, and align your finances to create a plan to move forward down this new path, I’d love to chat–you can grab some time on my calendar here. Tomorrow’s Note will be back to the normal topics of spirit, mind, body, money, and creativity, but I felt it was my obligation to share the news and focus of Santiago with you. AlignedLife podcast episodes If you check out any of these, I’d love it if you give a like, comment, or even share to help the algos show them a little love! I'm on a mission to help more people find and live their authentic life. Check out my Daily Notes where I write a short note each day about the connection of spirit, mind, body and money on the Pursuit of your authentic life.
This weekend, I was reminded of just how cruel our minds can be. Cruel might be an exaggeration of what I experienced, but I know how my thoughts could have spiraled out of control, causing things to be much worse. Without getting into all of the details, as a part of the announcement of the rebrand from RLS Wealth to Santiago, I decided I’d send an email to a handful of people who have been positive influences on me and supportive of me over the last ten years, as I went on my personal...
Breathe in...Look around. But look deeper.Because how you see—That’s what becomes real. Perception. Not just what hits the senses,But what your mind makes of it.A lens.A filter.A frame. It’s not what happens to you,It’s the meaning you assign. When life nudged me to pivot,I could’ve seen failure.Fear.Loss.But I saw a door.A blessing.A beginning. That shift in vision? It became Santiago. It became me. Same moment.Different mind.Perception reshaped my path—And reality followed. We don’t see the...
“Most of what we say and do is unnecessary: remove the superfluity, and you will have more time and less bother. So in every case one should prompt oneself: 'Is this, or is it not, something necessary?' And the removal of the unnecessary should apply not only to actions but to thoughts also: then no redundant actions either will follow.” - Marcus Aurelius “Is this, or is it not, something moving me closer to my authentic life?” See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC
