“Concerning all acts of initiative or creation, there is one elementary truth…that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too…A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of incidents and meetings and material assistance which no man would have believed would have come his way.”
- W.H. Murray
Once you have a vision of what you want, have a strong belief in its possibility, and embody that future version of your Self, it will come and usually arrive faster than you could ever imagine, if you allow it to. As Murray shares, “a whole stream of events issue from the decision” but we can get in the way of these events or miss them if we are not paying attention; these events are the chance encounters with the person you need to meet, doors opening for you when you didn’t even know they were there, and an unexpected windfalff of money that is exactly the amount you needed to take the next step. And sometimes those events may not appear as a positive in the moment, like getting let go from your job, but as events continue to unfold, even the “negative” ones end up looking like “luck”. It’s important to understand that the level of commitment must be authentic, sincere, and full. There are a lot of things we pretend to want, but we never commit to making them happen–talk is cheap when it comes to manifesting the life you want. Once you commit, do what you need to do, and then stay out of the way. JC |

“Do you know what it means to learn? When you are really learning, you are learning throughout your life and there is no one special teacher to learn from. Then everything teaches you–a dead leaf, a bird in flight, a smell, a tear, the rich and the poor, those who are crying, the smile of a woman, the haughtiness of a man. You learn from everything, therefore there is no guide, no philosopher, no guru. Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning.” -J. Krishnamurti...
“Here’s the thing. Throughout most of my youth and early adulthood, I believed the external achievements would alleviate my inner turmoils. If I wasn’t at peace, I figured that there was some ambition I needed to actualize, or some milestone I had to reach to justify a period of ease. In my mind, peace was not a given. It had to be earned, over and over again. This, of course, is a false belief, but it’s one thing to know it and a whole other thing to understand it.” -Lawrence Yeo, The Inner...
A couple of weeks ago, I gave the sixth talk in the Keep Pursuing Series called “mind control.” It was a last-minute decision to host it in person. After May’s talk, I decided to still write the Keep Pursuing talks, but I’d perform them in my podcast studio and share the talks on YouTube and the AlignedLife podcast. At the last minute, I received some signs from the Universe that I should still give the talk in person, so I pivoted and got ready to talk in front of a group of people. The...
