omens showing up differently than usual

Sometimes the omens sent to help guide you show up in different ways—not always the obvious way we’d expect. Seeing bald eagles flying overhead or resting in a tree has become one of my most powerful omens. When I see a bald eagle in the wild I know exactly why I’m seeing and what it is telling me. I don’t really look for them, but some days I’m looking for confirmation from the Divine that I am open and more aware of the possibility of seeing my favorite bird. This week I had one of those days. Tuesday I came up with a new idea that I’m really excited about and it feels like an important next step in the work I’m doing. I woke up Wednesday thinking that I might see a bald eagle—truthfully, that I’d love to see a bald eagle because it would mean to keep following the new idea. On Wednesday, I was only outside for a little bit because I had a family planning procedure, so aside from the drive to and from the doctor’s office, I was laid up on the couch all day. I wasn’t discouraged that I hadn’t seen an eagle during my drive to and from the procedure— I knew I didn’t NEED to see one on Wednesday and that a sighting later in the week would carry the same message and weight. That evening, I was texting with a friend when he sent me four pictures of a bald eagle from that day.
I smiled immediately because I hadn’t mentioned my new idea to him or that I was looking to see one that day. I let him know that he sent me the message I was looking for and what he said next made it even more special.
Michelle took these photos and said, “Justin needs to see them. I wonder if he’s looking for a sign.” There is absolutely no way she could have known that. The Universe delivered. My most meaningful omen, on a day that I was looking for confirmation from the Divine, just not in the usual way. It wasn’t any less meaningful—in fact, I think given the way it unfolded, it’s even more special. Pay attention for the omens and don’t get stuck looking for them in the same way because you might just miss the message you were waiting for. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC |
