For the last ten years, I’ve followed where my heart has directed me, and there was a period where it looked like I was all over the place, trying new things, sharing my explorations publicly, and pivoting without any second thought. I’m not sure where I gained the confidence to follow where my heart was leading me, other than the energy I felt once I started following my passions, and experiencing different versions of my Self was unlike anything I had felt before. I knew most of the explorations wouldn’t last forever, and early on, I didn’t realize each would lead me to learning something new, like a skill or something about my Self, that would prove valuable once I returned to my original path. In hindsight, I see why my heart sent me down different paths, which helps me learn faster and recognize the “why” sooner. There is no questioning why I develop an interest or passion for something now. I just follow where my heart is guiding me. I trust that my heart has planted the interest and passion in me. I don’t need to know why. I just pursue, enjoy, and learn. I’m sure there have been many things planted in you by your heart that you never explored. We’re not encouraged to follow those passions, or we have the false interpretations that we must quit everything to pursue the new interest–you can explore in your free time, which we all have more than we think (how much scrolling are you doing each day?!?). Let this Note be your reminder or your nudge to give some time and energy to that next new interest or passion that pops into your heart out of nowhere. There is a reason your heart is placing it in your life. Remember, your heart is your direct line to the Divine–don’t ignore its guidance. See you tomorrow and keep pursuing, JC |

I’ve been working on writing a manifesto for the authentic life and have been using ChatGPT to help me get started. I posted v.1 of a manifesto on social media last week, and here is v.2, which was created using the GPT I’m training using my Daily Notes, AlignedLife Podcast, and transcripts from talks and videos. When I finalize the manifesto, it will differ from the ChatGPT versions, but they have given me great starts to work with. The Authentic Life Manifesto “We believe life is meant to...
