if i could only...

Sometimes I catch my Self thinking about what I would only do each day if life allowed it…

  • Mindfulness practice
  • Physical activities like yoga, weights, biking, basketball, walking, and maybe running
  • Family time
  • Creative work
  • Client work
  • Networking/Connecting
  • Rest/Sleep

Pretty simple.

All of these show up in my daily life; however, a lot of other things show up that limit the time I have for these few areas. There is also room for improvement in discipline that would help with allocating more time for just these things.

Identifying what I would only do if I could is a great step in moving forward.

Identifying the things I’d only do if I could is the first step in making that my reality. These activities are the lens through which I can run all opportunities and eliminate anything that doesn’t align with them; if something is unavoidable, I can look for solutions to take care of it for me, or at a minimum reduce the time and energy I have to give it.

What are the things you’d only do if you could?

The coach shared a screenshot of what the team had shared with each other, and I couldn’t help but smile at what they had taken away; many of them made connections on their own that I didn’t share. I thought I’d share what they took away: Mindset separates the good from the...

“Everybody everywhere wanted an end to corruption. A very important influence in my career joined me for a conversation about the possibility of a better civilization—a Golden Civilization. George Kinder was my guest, and if you’re new to...

“You should think of your energy as if it's expensive. As if it's a luxury item. Not everyone can afford it. Not everyone has invested in you in order to be able to have the capital for you to care about this.” -Taylor Swift Bet you didn’t see a Taylor Swift quote coming.
